Jharkhand Police continues to achieve remarkable success in its ongoing operations against the banned extremist outfit, CPI (Maoist). In a span of less than two weeks, significant recoveries and neutralization of Maoist infrastructure have been made, showcasing the state police’s strong intelligence and operational efficiency.
On July 20, 2025, security forces recovered 14 IEDs, each weighing approximately 2 kg. Along with these explosives, country-made hand grenades, ammonium nitrate powder, cracker powder, and steel containers were also seized, potentially foiling major attacks.
Earlier on July 11, 2025, five Maoist bunkers were destroyed in a coordinated operation. Additionally, two IEDs, electric detonators, walkie-talkie sets, safety fuses, arrow bomb assemblies, electric wires, syringe mechanisms, and other daily-use items were seized.
In another major success on July 9, 2025, forces recovered 18 IEDs, each weighing around 3 kg, from a forested area, preventing a potential disaster.
These continuous achievements reaffirm the commitment of the Jharkhand Police in eliminating left-wing extremism and ensuring safety and peace across the region.
