Old House Damaged Due to Heavy Rain in Dhanbad's Hirapur Village

Due to continuous heavy rainfall, a portion of an old house collapsed today in Nagar Kiyari village of Hirapur, Dhanbad. The staircase of the house suddenly fell down, causing damage to the kitchen area and spreading fear among the residents. The house belongs to Bhanu Devi, wife of Bhagtu Mahto, who said that the house was very old and had become weak due to days of rain. "We were lucky no one was near the staircase when it fell, otherwise a big accident could have happened," she added. The collapse scattered bricks and debris all over the kitchen, where gas cylinders and utensils were stored. Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident. Local villagers reached the spot quickly and are now demanding help from the administration. The family is seeking support for house repairs and financial assistance.
