Under the State Employee Health Insurance Scheme, Deputy Commissioner Shri Aditya Ranjan distributed health cards to government staff at the Collectorate Hall today.
The scheme offers ₹5 lakh health coverage to serving and retired state employees and their dependents in empanelled hospitals. In case of critical illness, up to ₹10 lakh assistance is available.
A total of 30,537 health cards have been issued to employees across various departments in Dhanbad. Online applications were used for enrollment.
District Welfare Officer-in-charge, Shri Niyaz Ahmed, was also present at the event.
