PM Modi Distributes 51,000 Appointment Letters, Highlights Youth as Pillars of Developed India
On July 12, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed new recruits after distributing over 51,000 appointment letters under the Rozgar Mela initiative. He emphasized the government’s continued efforts to create jobs without favoritism — “Bina Parchi, Bina Kharchi.”
The PM highlighted youth as India’s greatest strength, citing the power of democracy and demography. He encouraged new appointees from sectors like railways, postal services, healthcare, and defense to serve with the spirit of "Citizen First".
He mentioned key schemes such as:
Employment Linked Incentive Scheme: ₹15,000 support for private-sector first-job holders.
PLI Scheme: Created over 11 lakh jobs.
PM Surya Ghar Yojana: Boosts rooftop solar adoption and job creation.
Drone Didi & Lakhpati Didi: Empower rural women and drive employment.
PM Vishwakarma Yojana: Supports traditional artisans with tools, training, and credit.
PM Modi cited India’s rapid economic growth and global praise from institutions like the ILO and World Bank, crediting youth and government schemes for lifting 25 crore people out of poverty.
He urged the newly appointed government employees to work with dedication during this “Amrit Kaal”, the golden era for building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
