Dhanbad Police have intensified their crackdown on notorious gangster Prince Khan by launching a series of coordinated raids across multiple locations in the district. Acting on intelligence inputs and ongoing investigations, police teams conducted searches at the hideouts of his close associates and individuals suspected of providing logistical and financial support to the criminal network.
According to police sources, the operation is aimed at dismantling the entire syndicate operating under Prince Khan, who is alleged to have been involved in cases related to extortion, illegal land dealings, threats, and organized crime in the region. Despite being outside the district, he is believed to be controlling his network through trusted aides.
Multiple Locations Raided
Raids were carried out in areas including Wasseypur, Bank More, Jorapokhar, Bhuli, Saraidhela and other sensitive pockets of the city. During the operation, police reportedly seized important documents, digital devices, and materials linked to suspicious financial transactions. Several individuals were taken into custody for questioning.
White-Collar Links Under Scanner
Investigators have also widened the scope of the probe to examine the role of alleged white-collar individuals who may have provided shelter, financial assistance, or strategic support to the gang. Police officials stated that no one involved in aiding criminal activities would be spared, irrespective of their social or political standing.
Search for Absconders Continues
While some associates have been detained, several key suspects are reportedly absconding. Police teams are conducting continuous raids to trace their whereabouts, and further arrests are expected in the coming days.
Police Issue Strong Warning
Senior police officials emphasized that the drive against organized crime will continue until the entire network is neutralized. “Those who support criminals, directly or indirectly, will face strict legal action,” an official said.
The ongoing operation has created panic among members of criminal gangs in the district, while residents have welcomed the police action, hoping it will lead to improved law and order in the coal belt region.
