Dhanbad: Deputy Development Commissioner Mr. Sunny Raj conducted an inspection of Sadar Hospital today. During the visit, he reviewed various sections of the hospital including the registration counter, medicine distribution unit, women’s ward, parking area, and other facilities.
He interacted with patients admitted in the women’s ward and gathered feedback regarding treatment, cleanliness, and hospital services. The DDC directed hospital authorities to ensure quality healthcare services for all patients visiting Sadar Hospital.
Emphasizing the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, he instructed officials to strictly follow all prescribed guidelines while providing treatment to beneficiaries under the scheme. He also stressed proper and lawful disposal of bio-medical waste as per established norms.
Any shortcomings observed during the inspection were directed to be rectified immediately to improve overall hospital functioning.
The inspection was attended by Civil Surgeon Dr. Alok Vishwakarma, Sadar Hospital Deputy Superintendent Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, DMFT PMU Team Leader Mr. Shailesh Tiwari, along with other officials.
