Indore: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has expressed concern over the rising cost of education and healthcare in India, stating that these essential services are increasingly becoming inaccessible to the common man. Speaking at the inauguration of a cancer hospital in Indore, he said that education and healthcare were once considered acts of service, but have now been turned into purely commercial ventures.
Calling India’s current education system a “trillion-dollar business,” Bhagwat stressed the urgent need for reforms. He emphasized that the core purpose of education and healthcare should be to serve society, not just to generate profit.
