The counter-terror operation in Kashmir’s Kulgam forests has entered its ninth day, with Indian forces intensifying efforts to eliminate the remaining militants. One terrorist was killed on the first day, but others are believed to have links to Pakistan, prompting calls for renewed and harsher action.
Officials assert that “Operation Sindoor” is paused, not ended, and warn that any Pakistan-backed terror strike will be treated as an act of war. The prolonged operation has claimed the lives of two Indian soldiers, whose sacrifice the nation vows never to forget. India is also set to press the global community, including the US, to hold Pakistan accountable for its continued support of terrorism.
