In a major step towards sustainable urban development and heritage preservation, authorities conducted a site inspection today at Bans Ghat in Patna, where a new ‘Waste to Wonder’ theme park is set to be developed between the memorial of Bharat Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad and the JP Ganga Path.
The upcoming park will creatively use recycled waste materials to build artistic replicas of world-famous monuments, aiming to promote environmental awareness while enhancing the city's tourism appeal.
During the visit, special attention was also drawn to the nearby resting place of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan. Officials have directed that his memorial, too, be developed and beautified as part of the larger plan.
This initiative reflects a visionary blend of innovation, environmental consciousness, and reverence for India's iconic leaders. The district administration has been instructed to ensure timely and high-quality execution of the project.
