A special training workshop under Project Impact was organized today at CM School of Excellence, Babudih for all Block Resource Persons (BRPs) and Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs) in Dhanbad. The session was led by Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Mr. Aditya Ranjan.
Addressing the participants, the DC highlighted the importance of bringing institutional reforms in schools rather than focusing only on inspections. He urged BRPs and CRPs to evaluate the effort put into improving schools, not just point out flaws.
He emphasized that government schools serve children from underprivileged and illiterate families, which is a service of pride. He suggested that teachers conduct at least one English-speaking session per week to help both students and teachers gain fluency.
DC Ranjan also addressed concerns about poor attendance in PTMs and directed that SOPs should be strictly followed. Good-performing students should be honored during PTMs to encourage participation. Parents should be mobilized to increase engagement.
He stressed the importance of conducting daily "Chetna Sessions" to improve attendance and discipline. He concluded by stating that all schools should strive to reach the standards of CM Schools of Excellence and that collective effort is the key to transformation.
